1987: Degree in Chemistry at the University of Florence (110 cum laude /110). Thesis title: "Reactivity and catalytic activity of ruthenium carbonyl carboxylates".


1988-1991: PhD in Chemical Sciences, curriculum Organic Chemistry at the University of Florence. Title: "Study of the activation of organic substrates by group 8 transition-metal carbonyl complexes". Advisor: Prof. P. Frediani (University of Florence); co-advisors: Prof. M. Bianchi & F. Piacenti (University of Florence). 



1991-2002: Researcher Assistant of Industrial Chemistry (Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences) at the University of Florence - Department of Organic Chemistry.SSD C04X (now CHIM/04).

2002-present: Associate Professor of Industrial Chemistry at the University of Florence - Department of Chemistry. (SSD CHIM/04)
