Curriculum Vitae

Oct 2005: Bachelor Degree in Conservation Science at the University of Florence (110 cum laude /110). Thesis title: "Degradation and conservation of pine wood from the Vasa warship”.

Sep 2007: Master Degree in Conservation Science at the University of Florence (110 cum laude /110). Thesis itle: "Sinthesys and development of chemical gels for the removal of Paraloid from lapideous materials".

Jan 2008 - Dec 2010: PhD in Conservation Sciences at the University of Florence. Title: "Development of nano-systems for the cleaning of wall paintings". Advisor: Prof. P. Baglioni (University of Florence, Chemistry Department and CSGI).

Jan 2011 -  Nov 2011: CSGI Post-Doc fellowship on the Temart Project (Programma Operativo Regionale - Regione Toscana, co-financed by Fondo Europeo di Sviluppo Regionale (POR CreO FESR 2007-2013)).

Dec 2011-present: CSGI Post-Doc fellowship on the Nanoforart European Project (a FP7-funded cultural heritage project involving the preservation of movable and immovable artworks, by using nanotechnology.)
