On February 16th-17th took place in Florence the first SurfToGreen consortium meeting organised by CSGI at the Auditorium S. Apollonia.

The meeting strengthened the collaboration among partners highlighting the collaboration between research institutions and industrial partners.

The project, funded by the CBE-JU as Ann innovation action, aims at developing a new portfolio of ≥ 95% bio-based surfactants, using building blocks from EU agricultural and forest side streams and providing alternatives to conventional petroleum-based products.

During the 2-days meeting the partners shared the main updates, presenting the technical progress of the project, the main activities carried out in the first year and the preliminary results obtained.
