1988-1991: PhD in Chemical Sciences, curriculum Organic Chemistry at the University of Florence. Title: "Study of the activation of organic substrates by group 8 transition-metal carbonyl complexes". Advisor: Prof. P. Frediani (University of Florence); co-advisors: Prof. M. Bianchi & F. Piacenti (University of Florence).
