Alternative binders to Portland cement: Alkali-activated materials, Geopolymers, Sulphoaluminate cements, Supplementary cementitious materials.

Micro-encapsulated phase change materials (PCM) for high thermal performances cementitious materials.

Nanoparticles (Carbon nano tubes, graphene) in cement based materials: physical and mechanical characterization, piezoelectric properties and high strain rate behavior.

Innovative additives for concretes and mortars.

Curriculum Vitae

2015: Master Degree in Building Engineering at the University of Bergamo. Thesis on cement-based renders with micro-encapsulated phase change materials for improving energy efficiency of buildings. Supervisor prof. Luigi Coppola.

2012: Bachelor Degree in Building Engineering at the University of Bergamo. Thesis on mechanical properties of cement composites with carbon nanotubes at high strain rate. Supervisor prof. Luigi Coppola.
