Curriculum Vitae

Nicola Lai received the Laurea degree in chemical engineering from the University of Cagliari (Italy) in 1998 and his PhD degree in chemical engineering from the University of Pisa (Italy) in 2002. After he worked as a researcher at the research center CRS4, he continues his postdoctoral research at the Department of Biomedical Engineering of the Case Western Reserve University where he became research assistant professor in 2009. In 2015, he worked as an associate professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Old Dominion Univeristy. He is associate professor at the Department of Mechanical, Chemical and Material Engineering of the University of Cagliari. His research was supported by National Institutes of Health (NIH). He is author or co-author of more than 40 publications on specialized journals.
