Curriculum Vitae

Jul 1999: Degree in Chemistry, at the University of Florence (110 cum laude/110). Thesis title: "Study of biodegradative processes: metabolism of naphthalene and of benzoic acid derivatives".

2000-2001: CSGI fellowship on "Adsorption of superplasticizers on the silicate and aluminate phases of cement ".

2002-2004: PhD in Chemical Sciences at the University of Florence. Title: "Study of the physico-chemical properties of cementitious materials. Effect of superplasticizing and cellulosic polymers". Advisor: Prof. L. Dei (University of Florence).

1998-2005: Studies and research activity at: CSGI & University of Florence; CTG-Italcementi Group; BENSC, Hahn-Meitner Institute in Berlin (Germany).

2004-present: Post-Doc at CSGI and Dept. of Chemistry of the University of Florence.
