Curriculum Vitae

Marina is a Senior Researcher of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) at the Institute of Chemical Science and Technologies “Giulio Natta” (SCITEC-CNR) in Milano, where she leads the projects on protein and peptide assays for diagnostics and biomarker discovery. She is currently coordinating the H2020 FET PROACTIVE project MARVEL (Evolving reversible iMmunocapture by membrane sensing peptides: towARds scalable extracellular VEsicLes isolation). She has been PI in 4 National projects and staff scientist in 5 European projects. She is author of more than 80 peer reviewed papers, 5 invited reviews, 8 chapters in books (h-index 28 in Scopus) and Editor of the books Peptide Microarrays 1st , 2nd , 3rd editions, Methods in Molecular Biology Series. She served several time as Expert Evaluator and Project Monitor for the European Commission in the frame of the H2020 programme National Scientific Qualification as Full Professor in Clinical Biochemistry. Member of the board of directors of EVIta (Italian Society for Extracellular Vesicles)
